Madonna's Prince Tribute Slammed By Critics

Madonna was chosen to perform a tribute to Prince at this year's Billboard Music Awards. They were friends and both rose to stardom in the 1980's. What could go wrong?

She sang "Nothing Compares 2 U" followed by "Purple Rain," and included surprise guest Stevie Wonder. While critics said it did have emotion, it lacked the feel of a Prince performance and had no solo guitar (which was a Prince trademark).

In Madonna's defense, many had extremely high hopes for this tribute so they were likely to be disappointed no matter what.

Are Beyonce And Jay Z Recording A Secret Album?

Jay Z and Beyonce
When Beyonce's Lemonade was released it led many to accuse Jay Z of cheating on her. So why haven't they responded?

First, because the mystery sells WAY more albums! And second, if you believe this source, because they're going to respond with a secret album together.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, the source said: 'Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade. It's more their style to respond through music.'

Sounds like a great business plan for their streaming service Tidal, so if they weren't going to do it before Jay and Bey should get started on a secret album now!

Gwen Stefani Unrecognizable In Performance With Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton performed with a mystery woman at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards Sunday night. Wait, was that Gwen Stefani?

The couple performed their duet "Go Ahead And Break My Heart." Blake said he wrote the song to impress Gwen, then sent it to her half finished. At that point she added a verse and sent it back. That's pretty freakin' adorable.

As cute as they were in their performance, many people (myself included) barely recognized Gwen Stefani. I think it was the lack of bright red lipstick.

Actress Laura Marano would have looked fine - If she had ice skates on.

First Kesha was performing, then she wasn't, then she was. So perhaps she was caught off guard and this was the only clean thing in her closet?

Facebook's 'Trending Topics' May Show More Conservative News

Facebook making an announcement
Conservatives have criticized Facebook's "Trending Topics" section for having a liberal bias. Silicon Valley, where Facebook is headquartered, is very liberal.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg hosted a group of leading conservatives this week to discuss how to make sure the social network remains a "platform for all." He summed it up nicely in this post:

Moving forward Facebook is adding a few conservative news sites into the algorithm they use to identify what's trending. Will you notice a difference? I doubt it.

You might notice a difference if you're looking for it. But since your "Trending Topics" is customized based on how you use Facebook, your list probably won't change much.

Your Mom's 'Game Of Thrones Game

Actress Sophie Turner

The lastest trend is watching confusing moms watch Game of Thrones. If you laugh at these Tweets and videos, keep in mind that Game Of Thrones is about powerful women. If you make fun of your mom, she might whisper one of my mother-in-law's favorite sayings: "I brought you into this world, I can take you out." She's very Cersei like that.
