New daddy Shane, feeding his precious baby boy, Zander.
Shane's wife Dana, Zander's mommy, died suddenly Saturday morning during delivery. She had a very difficult pregnancy and fought to the very end to bring her son safely into the world. And here he is, absolutely perfect. Please help Shane and Zander as they begin their new life, without Dana. Dana and Shane are a young local couple from Starke, who tried for over two years to have a baby, and their dream finally came true. They found out they were expecting in January. Dana suffered several dangerous health conditions during her pregnancy, including high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia. She was admitted to the hospital on July 30th and labor was induced this past Friday. They were so excited to finally welcome their precious son. Saturday morning, Dana died suddenly from complications during her delivery. Shane is devastated, but his last promise to his wife and best friend was that he would take care of their sweet baby boy, Zander, who was delivered prematurely, weighing 5 pounds, 14 ounces. Please help Shane and Baby Zander if you can. Please click here to make a donation.
Happy Sunday, y'all! Today, Grace and I will brave the thundering herds at the mall in order to take advantage of the tax-free weekend. Not sure if it's really worth it. But before we head out, I would be terribly remiss if I didn't remind you that I want your money (click here to make that happen). Not all of it. Just a little bit. And, if you give me a little bit of your money, I will give you a lovely gift of thanks. I have more fun and exciting things to come, but let's see what we've already got! You can have one of my personal recipes. You could have an all natural, sweet smelling candle made by (you guessed it!) yours truly. You could have a beautiful and unique piece of art. You could have a lovely piece of vintage costume jewelry from my collection. But best of all, you could make a donation that helps save the lives of sweet little lambchops like Sage Pridemore, my partner this year. But only if you click here and give me some money. Not all of your money. Just a little bit. Thank you, my friends! ~Chris Wells
