Town Hosts Fake Wedding So Dying Father Could Make Memories With His Daughter

There are many points in your life that are forever etched as a cherished memory, such as your wedding day.  For parents and children alike, the father/daughter dance is unforgettable and for Rachel Wolf of Auburn, California she got to make this memory long before having an opportunity to be in her own wedding.

You see, the 25 year old woman isn't engaged or even close in planning her wedding.  However time isn't on her side.  Rachel's father, Dr. James Wolf, is dying of pancreatic cancer and only has a few weeks left.

With time not on her side she decided to do something many would consider strange.  She decided to put on a fake wedding reception, complete with a wedding dress and special song. Rachel recorded the event to play at her real wedding.  This way, she could have her wedding dance and a precious memory to last a lifetime.  Warning:  You will cry! A very special thank you to CNN and HLN for sharing this story nationally from California.
