Chris Malone

Quite possibly the best voice you will hear all day, that’s because when you hear Chris Malone weekdays from 3pm to 7pm, your workday should be about done.  Chris keeps your favorite music going strong as you head down the home stretch.  Keep 98.5 KTK with you in the car, as hitting the rush hour adds stress; Chris keeps you cool with an hour of commercial-free music starting just before 5pm!

Travelers Scamming Wedding Parties At Hotels

Wedding crashers used to just show up, uninvited to weddings, but now they're doing something different. Rising hotel costs means more people are trying to get the discounts at hotels, even if that means claiming they're guests of a wedding they're not invited to. People searching out the wedding block rates simply type "wedding block" into google and then look at couple's wedding webistes with often include guest information and special codes to book rooms. Experts say hotels aren't overly concerned about crashers since it's better to sell a room than have it go empty, which unfortunately means it's up to the couple to catch the liars. Alan Fiels, co-autho of "Bridal Bargains" says that couples who are offering guest a room block to check to see who has booked, especially if the block is close to selling out, because if an interloper takes a spot one of your guests should have your guest will end up paying a higher rate.
