Storm Roberts has been a fixture in Ocala and Gainesville for over twenty years and devotes much of his spare time to volunteering for many charitable organizations throughout our community.Storm & Chris in the Morning is a family-oriented program featuring the right blend of humor, music and listener interaction.
Storm Robert lives life with good humor and a generous heart. You might see Storm working out at the Gainesville Health and Fitness Center or at local sporting events. You could even bump into him in North Carolina, where he and his wife Judy enjoy their peaceful mountain cottage. But more likely, you’ll see him at one of the many local charity fundraisers he hosts to help raise money for those in need in our community. Day after day, year after year, Storm Roberts has helped define “Community Service” in North Central Florida with a relentless commitment to public service organizations and events in our area. Storm has been an integral part of efforts that have raised millions of dollars for worthy causes and the less fortunate in Gainesville and Ocala. We’re proud of Storm for his selfless giving and we’re proud that he has been the host of the WKTK morning show for twenty years.
KTK Mornings with Storm and Chris is an upbeat program, featuring the right blend of humor, music and listener interaction and its fun for the whole family. Chris Wells shares stories of family life, working and motherhood and loves hearing form listeners about their own experiences in these areas.
Chris was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in Florida. She began her career in radio in 1998, but most values her roles as a mother. She has three children: Jacob, Josh, and Gracie. She also has six dogs: Ki, Daisy, Petey, Butters, Jack Bauer and Phoebe. Chris is an amateur artist, jeweler and a painter. She is active throughout the community and understands the social and personal demands on women in these hectic times. She relates to busy women juggling work, and motherhood because, like many women today, she’s working hard at both. Chris and Storm are great friends, always ready to share a story and a laugh and have a wonderful chemistry that appeals to listeners.
KTK Mid-Day host Ce Ce Taylor graduated from the 'Center for the Media Arts' in New York City in 1985. She worked in radio in Long Island New York, Tampa FL and the Florida Keys.
Ce Ce was a member of the US1 Radio Florida Keys team, whose on air staff received the Edward R. Murrow Award in 1998, for Outstanding Continuous Coverage of Hurricane George.
In 2000, Ce Ce was named Royal Duchess of the Conch Republic, and commissioned as the Royal Conch Republic Disc Jockey, by Royal Crown Prince Kim Fisher.
She performed in the Ocala Civic Theaters Special Series Presentation of "Talk Radio" in 2004. Received a Harvey Award for "Outstanding Cameo or Crowd Pleaser Role".
One thing you'll notice about me is that I love to put a smile on your face. Over the past 21 years, I have traveled far from my native California, and have called Florida home for the last 16 years. I love the outdoors, watching soccer and making memories with my friends. Yes, I love a good bargain and clip coupons religiously. I am a novice car mechanic, which means I know just enough to be dangerous!
Scott was born in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia, Canada (Really – You can look it up, there is such a place), and grew up in Toronto (although the grew up part is still open to debate). That’s why Scott has lots of stations that begin with C’s instead of W’s on his resume, including the legendary CKLW for over 10 years.
He emigrated to the US on the 4th of July (legally – f.y.i.) and worked at Oldies 104.3 in Detroit, then Oldies 104.3 in Chicago (made learning the slogans real easy). Scott has worked in Florida since 2002, with a side trip to sister station WRVR in Memphis. "I've worked round the radio clock; mornings, mid days, evenings, nights, weekends, been a Program Director, even had a TV show" (Wow – Really?)
Listen for Scott Miller weekends, or filling in for the weekday hosts.
